After a goalless first half, the game exploded into life with four goals in the first eighteen minutes after the break. Ali Bamford, returning to the club and making his second "debut" almost set up Jason Side but the midfielder's header was at the keeper.

But O's weren't to be denied and took the lead on 52 minutes. Scott Robson's inch perfect ball through found Haydn Conlan and his cross was gleefully smashed home by debutant Lewis Powell. Credit should be paid to referee Bryan Lee who played an excellent advantage after Robson was fouled as he played the ball.

Calne equalised on 59 minutes after counter attacking but they were only level for two minutes. Robson swung in a right footed free kick and Powell headed home at the far post to make it 2-1. And incredibly it was 3-1 just ninety seconds later as Josh Williams nodded onto the crossbar from a throw in and Gary Shorney knocked in the rebound.

Bamford then went close to making it 4-1 with a shot that he pulled just wide but the best goal of the game came with six minutes to go. Shorney found himself in space just outside the box and let fly with a shot that hit the post and flew into the opposite corner of the net.

The Wiltshire side scored a consolation with four minutes to go but the O's had the last chance which Robson drove wide of the goal.
