Goals from Jack Miluk and Beau Blakeman gave Warminster their first three points of the season at home to Oldland tonight.

Miluk put the home side ahead on the half hour and Blakeman then hit a screamer five minutes into the second half to complete a comfortable victory for Town who had to survive a much improved last half hour from the O's who had three or four good chances to at least pull a goal back.

The first twenty minutes was bereft of chances with Tom Welch going closest for Warminster with a left foot drive that rose over the bar. Gary Shorney then set up O's Josh Williams but his shot with the outside of his boot was easily held by Callum Hotine.

Tyrone Pollard blazed way over with a first time shot and Kurt Hammonds headed at Oldland keeper Ryan Perry as the hosts pressed for an opener which eventually came on the half hour. Miluk was set up after a jinking skilful run from a team mate before slotting into the corner of the net.

Lucas Hart pulled a shot wide and team mate Perry then did well to parry a shot from Clinton Hartley as the half closed.

Perry then saved again from a good short corner move, the fierce effort coming in from Welch. But there was nothing the O's keeper could do two minutes later when a right wing cross found Beau Blakeman in space 25 yards out and he lashed home an unstoppable shot high into the roof of the net.

O's boss Dale Dempsey had made a double change bringing on attackers Ryan Nicholls and Mike Alvis and O's actually enjoyed some decent possession and chances at last. Josh Williams, O's star performer, curled a shot on to the roof of the net and Hart went close from a narrow angle.

Perry was twice caught in possession outside his box but on both occasions, Warminster couldn't make him pay with Hartley forced wide and shooting into the side netting and then pulling the ball across the box rather than trying to shoot again.

Williams then hit two efforts at the keeper and sub Alvis also went close twice, seeing one shot deflected and another saved by Hotine in the Warminster goal.
