In a goalless first half, Oldland had the majority of chances and could have been two or three ahead by the break. Instead, they had to wait until the 55th minute when striker Paul Coles finished from close range for his third goal in four games.
Wincanton were grateful to keeper John Hill who pulled off two fantastic saves. But the O’s continued to press and sealed the points with the second goal on 82 minutes when Ryan Ashwood struck from the edge of the box to make it seven points from the last three games for the home side.
