O’s came out of the blocks quickly and scored on eight minutes through striker Simon Lashley. They then spurned several good opportunities before defender Ali Bamford burst down the flank, cut inside and let fly from 25 yards, his shot rippling the net.
A third goal from the O’s would have killed the game off but instead, Cheddar came back into it and Callum Ham scored before Matt Connick then added a second goal deep into the second half to level matters.
