The first twenty minutes saw both sides getting their match legs back after a three month break but gradually the game settled down and Oldland took the lead on 29 minutes. Mike Alvis sprang the offside trap before cutting inside and firing home confidently.
Mike Connors then did well to block a Nailsea shot, deflecting it for a corner and after Alvis poked another effort at the keeper, Nailsea levelled on 38 minutes. Adam Bell curled a free kick past the defensive wall and keeper Ryan Perry.
Oldland boss Dale Dempsey introduced several half time substitutes including many young lads and the O's had the first clear chance of the second period. Shane Smith swung a corner over and Ashley Bernard controlled before volleying at the Nailsea keeper.
Nailsea then imposed themselves more on the game and went 2-1 up on 63 minutes with a header from Matt Long. Goals three and four came within two minutes of each other, the first an excellent solo effort from James Lee and the fourth from Sam Long. Long then added his second and Nailsea's fifth with six minutes remaining from a counter attack.
