O'S BEAT YATE IN BLAZING FRIENDLY HEAT

A double from Mike Alvis and goals from Paul Comley and Lucas Hart saw the O's bounce back from the disappointment of their Fry's Cup defeat on Thursday evening.

Alvis struck from the penalty spot on seven minutes after Ryan Nicholls was fouled in the box and he grabbed his second inside twenty minutes after being set up by strike partner Paul Comley.

After Tom Hutton went close with a shot, Comley added a third just before half time and Lucas Hart scored the fourth to seal the victory.

O's now face Highridge next Saturday in their last scheduled first team friendly, 3pm kickoff at Castle Road.
