In a match lacking many real chances, an own goal with eighteen minutes to go settled the match though Corsham had come closest, striking the woodwork early in the second half.
The first half saw neither keeper tested seriously. Haydn Conlan hit two shots at Reds keeper Anthony Brown while Joe Galsworthy's shot lacked power and was also dealt with by Brown. The Wiltshire side had five corners in the first half but some stout resolute defensive work meant that home stopper Ryan Perry had little to do.
In the second half kicking down the hill, Corsham hit the post before then taking the lead in fortunate circumstances when a shot hit an O's defender, wrong footing Perry and rolling into the net. They then had chances through Keiron Gleed and Liam Brown (twice) to kill the game off but spurned the opportunities. Late on, a rising Tom Hutton volley whizzed over the crossbar, Oldland's last chance to salvage a deserved point.
