Home keeper Steve Tanner saved from Mike Hardiman early on but Ashton took a sixth minute lead through a header from top scorer Lee Delaney.
Ashton nearly doubled their lead on fifty minutes when Ryan Crouch headed over but man-of-the-match Ali Bamford equalised when he cut inside from the flank and rifled home. It was Ali's third goal of the season and the first that the home side had conceded in more than four and a half games.
With twelve minutes to go, Ashton sub Conor Biggins rattled the Oldland crossbar with a thirty yard shot but the game ended one each, stretching Oldland's unbeaten run to five games.
