Mark Leigh's early goal gave the O's the lead and after a first half where they spurned several opportunities, Ben Harris added a second halfway through the second half. Chippenham pulled a goal back with three minutes remaining through Mark Robinson but it was a mere consolation and Nigel Lee's boys continue their recent upturn.
As early as seventy seconds into the game, Mike Hardiman went close with a shot after being set up by Ben Harris. Chippenham hit back with their only shot on target in a disappointing first half for them but Ryan Perry dealt comfortably with Jamie Jordan's shot.
Kicking down the slope, Oldland made the most of it and created seven or eight chances in a confident, dominant first half show that deserved more than a goal lead given to them inside ten minutes. Danny Carter swung in a dangerous free kick and Mark Leigh met it with a perfect header to put the O's ahead.
Home keeper Martin Mitchell parried a Harris shot before then spilling another shot from the forward but Hardiman's ball back into the middle was cleared. Carter fired wide with his right foot and then came even closer with a brilliant free kick from thirty yards that crashed against the crossbar.
Leigh went close with a flashing shot across goal and Mitchell saved again from Hardiman before Park finally had a sight of goal but Dan Price headed Jordan's corner well wide.
In recent games, Oldland have been profligate with chances and been made to pay and having only a single goal advantage never felt like enough. So when Ben Harris produced a cool finish into the corner of the net on 66 minutes, the game felt a little safer than before.
With ten minutes to go, new signing Miles Allen set up Hardiman who controlled before volleying over the bar. But then with little more than two minutes to go, a ball into the box was cleared as far as Mark Robinson and the substitute volleyed low into the net from just outside the box.
Price fired over the bar as Park searched for a late, unlikely leveller but after nearly four minutes of stoppage time, the official blew and Oldland had made it seven points from their last three league games.
