The club is sad to hear of the passing just before Christmas of Highridge United legend 'big' Roy Vincent a true stalwart of the club and one of the old school legends of local football in Bristol.

We have some great memories of our visits to you and your trips to Oldland, Roy. You and your boys packing out The Dolphin in the days before we had a bar at Castle Road, John Haberfield even recalls Roy coming here with the squad and the supporters from The Hut in a double decker bus for one game. Always guaranteed a smile and a laugh with every visit.
