Having seen last season's Under 18s progress after two years and come of age they now move into permanent adult football. Our thoughts now turn to winding back the clock and starting another two year cycle.

Last season's successful Under 16s squad will now form the basis of our Under 18s for the next two seasons playing in the midweek Somerset Floodlit League. They will train along with the whole of the senior squad first team and reserves starting from Monday 19 June and be fully integrated into senior football right away by being gradually introduced to Reserve and hopefully First Team football during the next year.

The midweek team will be managed by Youth Chairman Phil Jones as last year's Under 16 managers are not able to continue through with them. This presents a great opportunity for a willing coach from within or outside the club or our immediate area to become involved, maybe a player reaching senior status who wants to give back a little of what he has learned over the years, to assist with running the Under 18s and the coaching side to assist the senior club managers.
