As we start to prepare to think about returning to normal there are plenty of things that need to be done at the club and it's site at Castle Road.
Many of us have not been near the place for months apart from Dale, his guard dog and his mower and the whole area needs a full tidy up. The car park is full of litter and rubbish from the local little so and so's, the verges and ditches are overgrown and paint is needed in numerous places inside and out. as well as that and a general clean there is plenty of maintenance work required along the pitchside areas and the dugouts.
On Saturday, 10 April we will be holding the annual work day. Anyone (yes that is ANYONE) who has an interest in the club is welcome to come down with a spade, a shovel, a paintbrush darn it even a kettle and lend a hand from 10.00 onwards.
Whilst we are fully aware of current lockdown restrictions this is not a social gathering. It is work, volunteer work, and with some of the broken glass, etc around also carries a health and safety aspect to it too.
Please come and support.
Many hands make light work!
