DATE SET FOR THE CLUB'S AGM

The club would like to announce that the date of the Oldland Abbotonians FC Annual General Meeting will be Wednesday May 3rd 2017 with a 7.00pm start.

The AGM will receive Reports from the officers of the Management Committee and the latest statement of the accounts.

Elections of officers are also to take place at the AGM.

Nominations for officers of the Club will need to be sent to the Secretary at any time prior to the AGM by email secretary@oldlandfootball.com or in writing to Martin McConachie

All members have the right to vote at the AGM.

The quorum for AGMs will be 6.

As a reminder of the Club Constitution:

The officers of the club are:
· Chairman
· 1st Team Secretary
· 2nd Team Secretary
· Treasurer

Officers will be elected annually at the Annual General Meeting. The club will be managed through the Management Committee consisting of:

· Chairman
· 1st Team Secretary
· 2nd Team Secretary
· Treasurer
· Honorary Vice-Presidents
· Youth Section Affiliates
· Ladies team Affiliates
· All Team Managers and Coaches
· Other elected or co-opted members

Only these posts will have the right to vote at meetings of the Management Committee.

The Chairman holds a casting vote in the event of non-unanimous agreement

The Management Committee will be convened by the Secretary of the club and held no less than 12 times per year.

The quorum required for business to be agreed at Management Committee meetings will be: 6

The Management Committee will be responsible for adopting new policy, codes of conduct and rules that affect the organisation of the club.
