Oldland Reserves exited the Brunel Shield after two games, losing to Bristol Premier Combination rivals Talbot Knowle in a wet Friday night fixture.
Although starting well, Oldland fell two down to two headed goals in quick succession. They pulled one back for 2-1 at half time but were unable to gain any further ground. Talbot scored two more in the second hlaf with just the one consolation from Oldland.
Next up is a friendly at home to Saltford on Monday 7 August (7pm kick off) with Manager Andy Weeks looking to organise further friendlies between then and the first league match on Wednesday 6 September.
