The travelling O's went down to a vastly changed Wells side after a trip down the M5 on Saturday.
The home team had been promoted from Division One two years ago with a predominantly Bristol based side but relegated after just one season in the Premier Division following a change in management and exodus of players. Oldland manager Jon Toy is in the middle of his own rebuild after taking over from Scott Armstrong, his aim being to rebuild the club with local players with a few on board already and plans in final progress for the addition of at least two more new faces before next weekend.
The Os support was depleted too as Habbers was ill, Brayer on kids duty and Glees having a rare weekend off. The few that had travelled were happy early on as Liam Villis gave the visitors the lead on 19 minutes. The half progressed without further goal mouth action and half time saw Oldland holding their lead.
The second half was a different story however, and as the half wore on Wells came back into it. The O's conceded an equaliser and then within minutes a second leaving Wells with a home victory and a pointless journey home.
