The O's have started to make Castle road a tough place to go with another three points in the league.

Oldland fielded a much changed side again due to injuries and players on holiday. The following players missed out through those reasons Josh Southway (leg), Joe Walters (foot), Takayo Nemhard (illness), Jack Metcalf and Reece John both on holiday. However, there was recalls to the side for Chris Manns, Jamie Gregory and Connor Davies all whom missed out through other commitments lately.

Oldland started the game brightly for the first time this season and the boys seemed up for it. The first chance came only after a couple of minutes when good hold up play and a delightful pass out wide by Courtney Charles seen luke lecrass cross the ball for Olly Trevarthen who shot was well saved. However, it didn't take long for the O's to take the lead when good midfield play saw Josh Williams pick up the ball in the 5th minute and his effort hit the back of the net to the pleasure of the home supporters. Oldland had the bit between their teeth and again good link up play between the forwards and the midfield saw Luke Lecrass thread the ball through to Josh Williams who had all but the goalkeeper to beat from a tight angle. Josh Williams effort hit the post and good chance to double the lead went begging.

Solid defending by the back three restricted Warminster Town to a few long range shots which where either blocked by the defence or claimed by Oldland Number one Chris Manns. Warminster's main threat was the high deep ball into the box which did cause Oldland's defence to concentrate on clearing their lines and winning their individual battles in the air.

1-0 half time.

The second half started much the same as the first half. The O's from their kick off penned Warminster in by their own corner flag looking to create pressure in the right areas. Oldland had another chance to double their lead when Josh Williams was fouled in the area and the referee awarded a penalty. Up stepped Lewis Parker who made no mistake from the spot last week. However, this week Lewis Parker scuffed his poor penalty wide with the goalkeeper diving the wrong way. This gave Warminster a lifeline and they grew into the game second half. Warminster's James Vincent had a glorious chance to equalise after good play, but his header was well saved by Chris Manns. Despite Oldland looking fairly comfortable it was Warminster Town who found the equaliser in the 75th minute. Another high ball into the box caused a goalmouth scramble and a on hand Warminster player to poke the ball home.

Oldland of old might of perhaps crumbled however immediately we turned them round straight after kick off putting pressure on their defence. Oldland should of been awarded a second penalty when striker Olly Trevarthen went through on goal and beat the goalkeeper to the bouncing ball. The goalkeeper took Olly Trevarthen out but before getting a faint touch to the ball- no pen given. From the resultant corner a delightful ball into the box from Lewis Parker saw Striker Courtney Charles power the ball home with his head. 2-1 Oldland. Oldland then nearly increased their lead when Courtney Charles picked up the ball inside the Warminster half and bundled his way through the first couple of challenges to make his way into the box. Courtney then danced passed two more defenders with good footwork only to be denied a goal from a good save. Oldland did increase their lead in stoppage time to cerment a good all round performance when another good corner by Lewis Parker cause all sorts of problems in the box. The ball fell to the ever reliable centre half Scott Gregory to smash home.

F-T 3-1.

Man of the match was awarded to Courtney Charles for his superb performance and constant threat to the opposition defence.
