Oldland kept up their impressive pre season with victory over Premier Division Cribbs who were good testing opponents in an entertaining game at Castle Road.
The Os new look squad has started to take shape with 18 players on duty they took the lead on two minutes when a fine left wing cross was headed firmly home from close range. Cribbs were good though and bagged an equaliser with a fine flicked header just before half time past home keeper Ben Carter. Jamie Symonds and Russell Woodford looked calm for The Os whilst Ross Beazer slotted in well with the ever reliable Scott Robson.
In the second half Lucas Hart made it five goals in two games by slotting home at the second attempt before a mix up at the back saw Cribbs level again at 2-2. As the game wore on and subs were introduced one of them Owen McCallum showed great skill to cut in from the right crossing for Cash Vinall to calmly control and the slot the winner.
A good final home test for Oldland ahead of the season on a very warm night.
Not the best night for one of the beer fridges to break down though! Any potential sponsors out there??
