The visitors got off to an extraordinary start when a defensive mistake gifted Mangotsfield an opener after only 34 seconds, former Oldland striker Wayne Pearce scoring.
The home side looked to fight back immediately but luck wasn't with them. Gary Shorney thumped a volley against the crossbar before Tom Morgan's goal was ruled out for a foul. Shorney then hit the bar again on 16 minutes with a speculative effort and then set up Tyrone Fudgell who glanced a header just wide.
Seven minutes before half time, Oldland levelled in bizarre circumstances. Jack Welling flicked a pass up 25 yards out and hit a left foot beauty that the Mango keeper just kept out before he fell over the line but in juggling the ball, he let it slip and Morgan punced for his fifth goal in pre-season games.
The second half saw several subs for both sides and little further goalmouth action with O's having the better chances and more of them.
