The Gloucester County League runners up last season were sure to prove a tough test and so it proved as Henbury took the lead when Adam Rosser latched on to a square ball and slotted home. They almost added a second but the striker was denied by an offside flag raised by an assistant.
Tom Morgan, who scored two goals in Wednesday's win over Wootton Rovers, equalised on the half hour before then putting the O's ahead with an exquisite chip four minutes before half time. Henbury then levelled, again through Rosser, right on the interval.
In the second half, O's finally wrapped up the game with further goals through a David Stone chip on 65 minutes and a thunderous Ryan Dunn free kick with ten minutes remaining.
Next up for Oldland is Bristol Manor Farm on Wednesday evening, kick off at 7.30pm at Castle Road.
