The match started after a minute's silence was observed for former Calne president and long time supporter Bill Burt who sadly passed away earlier this week.
Calne had the first chance on goal when Tom Roakes chose the wrong time to completely miss the ball, in front of goal and the O's nearly made him pay with three smart saves in five minutes, the last of which was stopped right on the goal line.
On 25 minutes, the Wiltshire men took the lead when striker Glenn Armstrong got on the end of a Stuart Windsor cross. The same player then made it 2-0 on 42 minutes when he took advantage of a defensive slip up. Right from the kick off, and perhaps crucially, Josh Dempsey headed home superbly from a Gary Shorney corner to pull it back to 2-1.
After the break, Oldland came out flying and thought they had equalised but the two officials decided the ball hadn't crossed the line. Straight away, Calne went up the other end and Armstrong collected his, and Calne's, third goal.
Oldland continued to press and with three minutes remaining, top scorer Tom Morgan scored a goal out of nothing to set up a tense finish before almost right on time, Josh Williams (pictured) cut inside and fired into the corner of the net for a deserved equaliser.
Even after this, the O's almost grabbed an incredible winner but the Calne keeper produced a superb save to deny the visitors all three points.
