The O's got off to a flyer when in the fifth minute, they took the lead. Tom Morgan scored five times in pre-season and carried on where he left off, finishing off after a superb team passing move.
The remainder of the first half was O's pushing for a second with Connor Davies going closest, hitting the post from way out and Morgan also going close twice too. In the second half, there was more of the same with Keynsham having just one attempt on target throughout the 90 minutes.
Manager Dale Dempsey brought on Jack Parker with ten minutes remaining and it paid an almost immediate dividend. Matt Curnock headed the ball clear of his box to Parker. The winger then ran the full length of the pitch before slipping it through to Curnock who slipped the ball past the keeper for the decisive second.
