Weeksy joins the new regime

New manager Clayton Woodman has added to his management team by bringing in the vastly experienced Paul Weeks to work alongside him and Steve Cains.

Having started out as a professional with Bristol Rovers, Paul followed Ian Holloway to both Plymouth and QPR before dropping out of the full-time game. His subsequent non-league clubs as a player were Yate Town, Radstock, Corsham Town and Bitton where he managed the Reserves for a spell.

He had 3 successful years as a keeper at Cinderford Town before being appointed manager of Hellenic League Almondsbury Town in 2005 and achieved a fifth place, fourth place and second place finish in his 3 full seasons with the club, they also appeared in 3 cup finals under Pauls tenure. He next had a spell as manager at Hellenic League Cinderford Town before dropping out of management for work and family reasons and has spent the last two seasons involved with Somerset Senior League Saltford FC.

Manager Woodman said "Paul has seen it and done it at this level and I'm delighted to have him join us. Although not able to commit every single week he will be with us the majority of the time and is a great addition to the backroom team I'm hugely looking forward to working with him in training and on matchdays"

The club has already confirmed several pre season friendlies and full details will be posted here in due course
