Scott has played for us previously, firstly a couple of years ago leaving for rivals Longwell Green and then last year a spell as player-manager of local side Made For Ever. Hopefully he is back to stay now though having settled down, he has already shown great energy and commitment in the centre of the park and we welcome him back. With a reputation as someone who regularly picks up yellow cards and fines we thought we would dig into the archives and that has produced some surprising statistics.

Last year, Scott made 4 appearances for Oldland (2 as sub) with no bookings. In 2017/18 he actually played 16 games with 1 goal and no yellow cards. His previous season with us (2016/17 )he scored 2 goals in 19 appearances and collected just one booking. So there you are - more goals than yellows in his recent Oldland career - we take back all we said!

A succesful local businessman with his own fruit and veg business, Scott obviously takes his fitness seriously as can be seen in this shot here. He will certainly be one of the first names we approach when looking to shoot the Oldland Players and Officials 2020 Calendar as obviously all that healthy eating and gym work has paid off............
