Change of roles at the club

In a mini cabinet reshuffle, Tom Hutton has stepped down from managing Oldland Reserves to concentrate on his playing career. The role has been filled by former first team assistant manager Steve Cains who will be assisted by Craig Durnell which means that Steve Bristow has also stepped down from his position assisting Tom.

The move had immediate effect as Hutton scored two on Saturday in the Reserves two nil v Frenchay and hopefully he will relish the freedom of his new position.

Steve will now concentrate on bedding in more of the youngsters that he and Clayton Woodman have brought to the club. In the recent first team game at Sherborne only two players were over the age of 21 whereas the reserves can be boosted by the likes of Steve, Tom, Simon Warren and Tyrone Fudgell on and off the pitch to add experience and a few pounds on the scales.

We wish everyone involved in the Reserves success for the future.
