Although many of us were initially against Friday night football, last night was a roaring success off the pitch and we may well be repeating the exercise in future months.

Many thanks to those that turned up last night including a scattering of away supporters, some 'spotters' from other clubs and some 'hoppers' from around the globe, well alright then, the local area.

For once, we actually took enough on the gate to cover not only the cost of the officials but also the programmes and the catering expenses - some people also bought a beer so it looks like we may have made a proft on the game!

Many thanks to all those present, well the ones who paid anyway! Pictured here are some of the old guard keeping a watchful eye on the action whilst Tommy Davis appears to not have his mind on the game.......... no wonder he's not in the first team with concentration levels like that!
