Blues 3 - 4 St.Vallier
By Kevin Wichard
A tale of two halves
After going 1 nil up early in the game, the Blues ended up 1-4 down at halftime.
With Alex Williams giving the Blues an early lead, St.Vallier stepped up and started to dominate the game. With possession being split 50/50, the difference was the opponents confidence and direct style of play.
A change of tactics in the 2nd half gave the Blues a new found confidence. They were better with the ball, stronger in the tackle and had more of the ball. Jack Moore scored to start the comeback, with Alex Williams scoring the third and his second of the game. With plenty of chances to score the equaliser and possibly win the game, the final whistle blew and St.Vallier held on to win the game.
Alas, it was the same old story and another loss for the Blues. The second half was the best we’ve seen and a performance that has been missing from all previous games.
