Not a lot to say today as the Blues played poorly on a wet and windy afternoon, with Hanham deserved winners.
First to every ball, challenging for every tackle and having plenty of possession, Hanham wanted the win more than the Blues.
Being 5-1 down at halftime, the Blues heads were down. No matter what was said, they knew they were up against it.
With the wind helping in the second half, the Blues just couldn't get out of their own half, when they did, there was little to no support for the the forwards.
The final score of 8-1 did little to help their confidence and heads were down at the final whistle.
Harsh and honest words were had after the game as the coaches know that the Blues are so much better than today's performance.
The problem being if they continue to show the same attitude and performance they did today, it will be a long, tough season.
The few highlights today were Jack Moore's 1st half goal, Harry Joyner's determined performance, Matt Sowerby's and Ben Hawkins spectacular goal line clearances and Jake Wichard's numerous saves.
MOM today was Jake Wichard. He made some cracking saves today which stopped the final score line being so much more.
