At the AGM of the Somerset Floodlight Youth League, the Under 18s learned who they will be up against for the forthcoming season. With Bristol Manor Farm gaining promotion and Portishead resigning from the League, the team will once again play Larkhall Athletic, Brislington, Keynsham Town and Bitton but also meet Paulton Rovers, Welton Rovers, Odd Down and Bishop Sutton this season.

In the draw for the first round of the Roger Stone memorial Cup, a home tie against Premier Division Ashton & Backwell was thrown up to be played week beginning September 26. However, the team will have at least one cup match earlier than that with the opening two rounds of the FA Youth Cup due to take place in the weeks beginning September 5 and September 12.
