Youth Section - Welfare Officer vacancy

By Thomas Shepherd

The Club is seeking an individual to take on the position for welfare and safeguarding issues for the youth (U7-U16) section.

Applicants for this position will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check through the FA, as well as attend two workshops (Welfare Officer workshop and Safeguarding Children) run by the County FA. They will also be required to complete an online 'Safeguarding for Committee Members' course.

Upon successful completion, the individual will be the primary contact for coaches, parents and players of the youth teams and liaise with the Club Welfare Officer and Club Secretary to ensure that anyone with an active role in running the teams has the relevant qualifications and DBS checks in place.

Further information can be obtained from either the Club Secretary (Thomas Shepherd - youth.secretary@oldlandfootball.com) or the Club Welfare Officer (Tracie May - welfare@oldlandfootball.com)
