The former Bristol Rovers professional has agreed to remain at Castle Road for the 2018/19 season despite other offers. Southway is a full back by trade but can operate in midfield giving Oldland plenty of options. Southway was a main stay in the side last year making over 40 appearances.

Manager Scott Armstrong added, “I’m pleased souths is staying, he brings a lot to the table both on and off the pitch. I know he made some difficult choices to turn down some good moves but I’m pleased he is staying. We now have the majority of the squad last season signed on with one or two others pending.”
