With such a big squad it’s been confirmed that Johnsy will depart Castle Road for Lakeview.

Defender Reece John a summer signing from Bishop Sutton who played 40 games under manager Scott Armstrong last season before making the switch to castle road has confirmed today he shall be leaving the club by mutual consent. Reece was ever present for the O’s since his switch to castle road this summer making 13 appearances in the league this season to date. Reece was subject to a 7 days notice of approach by Bishop Sutton.

Following conversations between Reece and the management the club has agreed to waive the notice and allow Reece to move back. The club would like to place on record and thank Reece for his hard work and commitment whilst with the O’s. We wish Reece all the best for the season.

Manager Scott Armstrong added this to the statement, “ Its always hard to keep every single player happy with such a talented bunch of players. I’d like to thank Reece for his efforts whilst he has played for me. From a selfish point of view, I wanted Reece to stay and fight for his place in the squad. However from a personal and a friendship point of view understood he just wanted to be playing week in week out. Reece is a good lad and a good footballer. I’d like to wish him all the best for the rest of the season.”
