20 years to the week Diana went - you nearly needed to light "A Candle To The Wind...."

Following Wednesday's night's abandoned Reserve team fixture and rumours of deliberate foul play becuase they had let a lead slip "just because you're too skint to put them on with all those players wages" was also one (hilarious) opponents shout from a bloke that usually plays on a South Glos park pitch - poo bags and bins supplied, sweep the changing rooms out mate? we are pleased to announce that the floodlight problem has now been identified and temporarily fixed.

Thankfully this is an electrical circuit rather than main system problem and the new part has been ordered. The temporary fix will see the lights operating but as a test they will be put on early before next Wedneday night's game against Ashton & Backwell.

The failed bulb will be replaced next Thursday morning and the permanent repair carried out in the next week or so. After that, we are assured it will be like watching a Robbie Williams concert.

"I'm loving Angels instead..................."

Seriously, many thanks to Brad Purnell for giving up his time (for free) and sorting this for us it is much appreciated.

It would have been 'shocking' to have this problem drag on (oh god.......enough now)
