Oldland Abbotonians are looking for additional bar staff to help out at the club with immediate effect but mostly with one eye on next season.

For the past few years, running the club and bar area has taken on a new level of professionalism and service with an arrangement with Bicsa for the provision of bar staff. It is becoming almost like a full time job and poor old Tracie needs to step back a little and lighten her workload before the kids forget what she looks like!

Tracie is continuing her commitment to the club and with effect from the end of the season on 12 May she will still be around controlling and ordering the bar stock, line cleaning, organising cleaning of the bar area and covering first team matches.

What the club needs though is an applicant for the (paid) role that she is easing back on, which would involve;

Managing the bar on non-first team games - Reserves, Under 18s, etc (typically alternate Saturdays and occasional midweeks)
Managing the bar every Tuesdays and Thursdays for the Bitton Road Runners evenings (typically 6pm-10pm)

In addition the club is looking for a cleaner to tidy up, in other words:

The Monday morning post-weekend freshen up
The after match shower, etc facilities sweep through and bar floor clean (the next day if necessary)

This is of course a critical role and help would be provided where possible, including a handover period, but we do need to get fresh help for the bar team as soon as possible.
